Logo design was what initially attracted me to the graphic arts. I really enjoyed the challenge of bringing to life the values of a company or product in a single image. Long before Instagram and the omnipresent iPhone camera, I spent a many hours in my dad’s darkroom developing my own film and printing my own photos… by hand! It’s this understanding and appreciation for the still image that keeps me clinging to photography as my second passion after visual design. Often going hand-in-hand I’ve done several projects for clients where I was responsible for not just art directing shoots, but also for shooting the images myself.
